PART IV로 넘어오면서 주제가 CHARLIE'S ADIVCE ON LIFE, EDUCATION, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS로 바껴 투자와 직접적인 관련은 없다 느낄 수 있지만, 투자와 삶을 분리하는 것도 어리석은 일이라 생각되어 계속 투자잠언으로서 기록하기로 했다.

"Slug it out one inch at a time, day by day."라고 한 부분이나 본문에서 이야기 한 'the race between the tortoise and the hare'처럼 누구나 아는 이야기이지만 새까맣게 잊고 있던 이야기이기도 한 부분이고, 이를 일생에 걸쳐 실천했다는 부분도 놀랍다.
